The first SIX (6) people to respond to this post will get something made by me. It will be about or tailored to those six who respond first.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
-- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
-- What I create will be just for you.
-- It'll be done this year.
-- You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a mix tape. It may be fic, or a poem. I may draw or paint something. I might bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
-- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you have to put this in your journal as well, if you expect me to make something for you!

typing without dragon ditact.

so its april again and apart from an early wobble this month at work, (yes i know shes working again).
i mean that in both ways my head and body seem to have recovered or at least well on the way to recovering from the extreme stresses and strains of last year.

its coming up to the first anniversary of uncle chris death, however we had a birth on friday and i really hope my uncle was smiling down as his grandson was born in the early hours of friday morning.

below my very beautiful (kind of) newphew

DragonDictate

I recently bought a copy of Dragon Dictate number nine to use on my laptop, however my laptop has got the new Microsoft's operating system which shall not be named but you all know what it is.
My brother suggested that it may not be working because of this so together we agreed that we try it out on my desktop which has XP on.
It seems to be working so far however it does produce some amusing results when it is the words wrong but it still beats my spelling errors.

I must say it's rather nice to be able to talk into the computer and actually sound like me when reading it it back and not like some eight-year-old child.

It does make you wonder if programmes like this were available 10 years ago how different my school life would have been.
It is rather a liberating experience to not stop every five minutes typing to worry about grammar  punctuation and the worst of all spelling .to  me the hardest thing was having to look at a word knowing it was wrong and being totally unable to correct it it becomes very frustrating and limiting the using  and written language.
anybody who knows me in person as opposed on the Internet knows I love my words beautiful descriptive colourful words and it's finally a wonderful to try and be a to use this in how I come across in written language

that was my first blog using this and it's still far from perfect but it does mean what would normally take the half an hour takes me five comments welcome.
Enjoy reading my blog without the spelling mistakes still working on the grammar but one thing at a time.

<input ... > <input ... > Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In July I committed genocide... Sorry about that, [info] ms_jinxme (-5000 points). In August I donated bone marrow to [info] letitbethus in a life-saving procedure (300 points). Last Saturday I caught a purse-snatcher who stole [info] eponymousarchon's purse (30 points). In January I signed my organ donor card (28 points). Last month [info] villagecretin and I robbed a bank (-50 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-4692 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

Sincerely,
kskillen

Labyrinthitis is a balance disorder. It is an inflammatory process affecting the labyrinths that house the vestibular system (which sense changes in head position) of the inner ear.

In addition to balance control problems, a labyrinthitis patient may encounter hearing loss and tinnitus. Labyrinthitis is caused by a virus, but it can also arise from bacterial infection, head injury, an allergy or as a reaction to a particular medicine. Both bacterial and viral labyrinthitis can cause permanent hearing loss, although this is rare.
