last night dad cooked at its was fair,this consisted of  a lamb thai green curry with odd pasta and root veg.then he came out the sweeping statement as he often does"would you pay £5 in a pub for that. Well it at times like this i often say the right thing in order to please him,but this peliciar occasion i wasn't going to.
1 i dont like thail and coconut very much so i wouldnt have oredered it.
2 its was very werid and the flavours didint complent each other and kind of clashed on the plate.

oh dear that did it, this is one of the very occasions i should have just said "yes dadddy its very nice thank you very much".
It was then my mother said i have to produce a three course meal that for the following night,only using ingrediants we had in the house and ot to use expensive items.ie not to buy anything use things up at home etc.

so we are having

warmed vine cherry tomatoes with avcodo and roasted garilc

fish pie, with a home made lemon and black pepper sauce topped with bubble and speak mash

spiced apple and chamile sponge
